Our highlight of this year's Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival was the Ginger & Smart showcase runway show.

Ginger and Smart was established in 2002 by sisters Alexandra and Genevieve Smart. Underlying their design aesthetic was and is the desire to use the highest quality materials, top class manufacturing whilst building a strong fashion and lifestyle brand.

"Ginger & Smart designs for spirited women whose distinctive style is an expression of their individuality. A sense of cool confidence and discovery underpins the luxury contemporary design aesthetic of the brand, which seeks to combine the polished and the playful aspects of a woman."

Accompanied to the tunes of Blondie the show was a real triumph - beautiful prints, bold colour combinations and a touch of whimsy delighted the audience.
