Vintage 1957 Sixpence And Pearl Bracelet

This gorgeous bracelet features an original 1957 British sixpence, large white pearls and gold fill beads handwired with sterling silver wire.

The sixpence is known as the lucky coin. During the early 1600's it was customary for the Lord of the Manor to give his bride a piece of silver as a wedding gift. This was symbolically represented by a sixpence coin and that tradition of the sixpence as a symbol of good luck continues today.

The bracelet measures 20cm with a 3.5cm extension.

All Leoni & Vonk pearls and stones are handpicked for their beauty and individuality. Gold fill has the same desirable properties and look of solid gold. It won’t tarnish and will not rub off. If treated with care gold filled jewellery can be worn daily without fear of fading or rubbing off.

All Leoni & Vonk jewellery is packaged in a black wallet/pouch. If your Leoni & Vonk purchase is a special gift and you would like it gift wrapped please go to the Gift Wrap section here and make your selection https://leoniandvonk.com/collections/gift-wrap
