Claudia Love Token Necklace
This product is sold out
Original 1910 British sterling silver threepence and keshi pearl necklace on a sterling silver box chain.
Up until early 1920 all British threepences were made of sterling silver. From as early as the 15th century coins were altered and given as a token of love. In the Victorian era the practice was extended to include engravings and the setting of gemstones as in this case. The coins were either added to bracelets or watch chains as a momento from or to a loved one. This necklace is truly one of a kind and a piece of jewellery to treasure.
The coin and pearl drop measures 3.5cm and is on a 45cm sterling silver box chain.
Please note that natural products are used in this necklace and pearls often have slight irregularities.
