The perfect 60th birthday gift for next year's birthdays!
This beautiful long pearl necklace features a 1962 British sixpence and luxe keshi pearl drop. It can be worn long or wrapped to create a double layered necklace.
The sixpence is known as the lucky coin. During the early 1600's it was customary for the Lord of the Manor to give his bride a piece of silver as a wedding gift. This was symbolically represented by a sixpence coin and that tradition of the sixpence as a symbol of good luck continues today.
The total length of the necklace is 112cm (56cm from the neck) with a 5cm coin and pearl drop.
